Scope and Contents In 1948 Anne Wilson travelled to Greece with three other Girton Classics students, Margaret Bowen (Girton 1944-1948), Sheila Spire (Girton 1945-1949) and Rosalind Day (Girton 1942-1944 and 1947-1948. When they visited the Acropolis they were joined by Zita, a friend of another Girtonian who was not on the trip.In 1949 Anne visited Italy and Sicily, again with fellow Girton classicists.
