Letter from Jeremy [Prynne ?] of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge thanking Joseph Needham for a presentation copy of the volume and noting some 'stray thoughts, prompted by your new volume', 1974-09-12
He refers to 'Western survivals of the alchemical dream' on page 290 of the volume; 'the debate over sapientia and natural knowledge'. Attached to the letter is a leaflet advertising Potensan Forte a preparation 'of significant value in the treatment of impotence'. (The letter refers to the symbolisim of how the drug is presented).
