The resulting documents comprise a copy of a letter from Joseph Needham to Lord Richard Adrian of Pembroke College, Cambridge, recommending Blackmore for an honorary degree; further letter from Blair, thanking Needham for his help; note from Adrian acknowledging receipt of Needham's letter.
