Diaries, notes and reports recording Christy's research for the first Royal Society Sleeping Sickness Commission in Africa. The medical expedition was a response to the spreading Uganda Sleeping Sickness epidemic of 1901. Its aim was to elucidate the role of the Filaria perstans parasite in causing the disease.
