This volume contains income and expenditure accounts for Homerton Training College and Congregational Board of Education including subscriptions and donations; teacher salaries, board for students, teachers and servants for the C.B.E; teacher salaries, taxes, books and materials expenses for Homerton College Practising School; teacher salaries, grants from the School Fund and expenses for Homerton Row School and investments.

Scope and Contents This volume contains minutes of meetings of the Congregational Board of Education between 19 January 1883 and 10 April 1889, corresponding with the time period before and after the College's move to Cambridge. Recorded details include "whether the Board would be allowed reserve of right to reveal to the [?] organization or to deal with men and women as separate Colleges if they should decide to try the experiment of organizing Cavendish as a College for one sex."
