This includes calligraphic compositions by her inscribed to Meynell. With these are specimens of the typeface 'Elizabeth'. In a separate small envelope are designs by her and specimens of Meynell's writing paper '19 Cliveden Place'.

Ms. memorandum (photocopy) so titled, by Howe, dated 7 Nov. 1984. It concerns Elizabeth Friedländer, her wartime work for Howe's unit, and a manuscript copy of an 18th-century French writing manual written by her for Howe. With this is a photocopy of 4 pages of the manuscript.
