Biography
Pierre Charles Frédèric Pontramier was born on 27 June 1884 in Paris. He enlisted in the French army on 10 October 1905 and his occupation at that time was given as secretaire d'ingénieur. During the First World War he served with the 50e bataillon de chasseurs à pied.
