Scope and Contents The bulk of the slides in the collection were prepared for a lecture called 'Bombs and Bolos' on the British campaign against the Bolsheviks in North Russia in 1919. These have all been placed in section 1. The other slides include a group showing the surrender of the German Grand Fleet at Scapa Flow and the surrender of the German submarines at Harwich in November 1919.
