Letters from AHP to his mother, Maria Margaret Pollen, one with a detailed account of his travels across the USA and Canada and one with a diary account of the start of his hunting trip from Edmonton, Alberta to the Peace River district in British Columbia, Canada for shooting with his friend Henry Somers Somerset. The file also contains a typescript copy of the earlier letter, with a Pollen family member's annotations.
