Bicycle Club at Alban Lake

Scope and Contents

This is Lake Albano, a small volcanic-crater lake in the Alban Hills of Lazio, 12 miles south-east of Rome. The bicycle club includes both men and women, the latter in Edwardian hats and long skirts plus bicycle. All have dismounted their bicyles to stand and admire the view of the lake so their back is to the photographer.
