Letter to Whitby at Southmead Hospital from a colleague at the National Institute for Medical Research re their treatment [with M and B 693] for pneumonia, 1944-11-22
Name of author of the letter illegible, but refers to a paper given to a meeting of the Middlesex Hospital on 11 May 1938 on 'Chemotherapy of Experimental Pneumococcal Infections'. The writer goes on to say "I have not forgotten the pneumonia and your miraculous ministrations". They suffered none of the side-effects sometimes reported.
