Scope and Contents

Verses describing the activities of a fenland clergyman and his family, with illuminations and pen-and-ink illustrations. The volume contains the ownership signature of William O'Farrel Hughes (1838-1911), curate and later vicar of Upwood, Cambridgeshire. The identity of the 'cousin' referred to on the title page is not given, but a female cousin of the clergyman appears in the text and illustrations.
