Scope and Contents

Papers relating to the 1974 election, including press cuttings, Labour Party promotional materials and correspondence, particularly relating to the Chipping Barnet constituency [London], where AFB was speaking on behalf of the Labour candidate.

Also includes some cuttings on the first control units for persistent troublemakers, set up at Wakefield Prison [Yorkshire] and Wormwood Scrubs, and on European grain exports to India, to stave off famine.
