Scope and Contents Letter from Sir Arthur Bigge [later Lord Stamfordham, Permanent Secretary to King George V] (Buckingham Palace) to WSC thanking him on behalf of the King for forwarding newspaper cuttings [concerning the case of Edward Mylius]. He comments on the stance taken by individual newspapers and ends by hoping that the "govt will be ready to come to some arrangement to arrest the disastrous and evil manufacture of Peers" [to end the constitutional deadlock between the two Houses of Parliament]....
