A compilation of handwritten veterinary and medical recipes and treatments, comprising 165 pages plus alphabetical index by ailment. Pages 101 to 145 relate to conditions in humans, including veneral disease, vomiting of blood and chordee. These recipes derive from 'The Medical Manual' by Surgeon J.S. Forsyth.
