Scope and Contents From the Fonds: The stewards' accounts are the internal accounts of the funds administered by the 'Senescallus' who was chosen annually from among the Fellows. The accounting year ran from the Friday preceding the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (8 September) and may have been the traditional date inherited from the Gild of St Mary. At the Audit the outgoing steward assessed and accounted for stock in hand as well as for cash held by the various college officers before handing over to his successor. The...

Items include slating the east, north and west sides of the college and making new windows in all these sides. The principal expenditure is on masons' and carpenters' work.
The Audit Book states that the bills were laid in the library and this document was examined and approved by Crofts and Boys according the the order of the chapter.

No. 33 is a terrier of Cambridge East Field and 38 relates to Barton so these are not listed in this series.
No. 64, which was out of sequence, has been re-numbered 73.1.
