The accounts examined by James Essex below and in 02/B/73 presumably relate to the entry in the Chapter Book for 30 May 1781: Agreed to repair the roof and re-lay the slates on the east side of the college and to take down the bow window in the hall and build it in a manner similar to the opposite window.
