Scope and Contents 31 letters from Jim Stewart to Alan Wace written at the outset of the former's career, when he had recently graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge (B. A. 1934, Archaeology and Anthropology). Stewart had been awarded a Cambridge University Anthony Wilkin Studentship in Ethnography and Archaeology and set out from Australia thus funded to visit archaeological sites in Cyprus and Turkey.
