A collection of lantern slides and two loose photographic prints, documenting a journey from the United Kingdom, via Gibraltar and the Suez, to Cochin in Kerala, India. The provenance of the collection is unknown. There appears to be a connection to the firm, William Goodacre & Sons, established in Kerala in 1862, an export/import business still operating out of Alappuzha producing coir rugs, door mats, brush mats and related products.
