The testator leaves lands in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire (Haverhill, Withersfield, Clemsford, Cavendish, Somerton, Hawkedon, Boxted; Shudy Camps, Castle Camps, Harston, Newton and Foxton) to the children of his deceased brother John, and to his two reputed sons and two reputed daughters.

Notes at foot on production of the will and the examinations of Mrs Rachel Croson, alias Stephens, and Mrs Joan Booth in the case of Alice Margetson (widow) and others v. James Margetson in 1692.

His wife Ellen is sole legatee of all his real and personal estate.

Wright leaves the advowsons of Ashingdon and Althorne to his brother John Wright of Hatfield Priory and his brother-in-law John Firman of Witham, miller, in trust: both advowsons are to be sold and the profits divided equally between Wright's widow, Mary, and his sons, William and Thomas.

All Landbeach holdings demised to her grandson Henry Pyke and his heirs, failing whom her grandson Thomas Pyke and his heirs, failing whom her daugher Margaret Pyke and her heirs.

In the event of his son, Thomas, dying without issue, Day leaves revenues from his estate at Shipdham, Norfolk, for the support of two 'poor lads' from the neighbourhood, after attendance at elementary school, at Westminster, Eton or Winchester and then for seven years at Corpus. Presumably Thomas had issue, as the college never inherited.
