245 x 191 mm. A view showing the railway curving round a newly constructed embankment with felled timber beside the track and forest beyond. Two men can be seen on a railroad trolley at the left of the photograph. Salmon Arm lies at the southernmost corner of Lake Shuswap, about 20 miles south-west of the Sicamous Narrows.
