Found in 4 Collections and/or Records:
A.S. Rogers’ Residence, Witu, 1890 - 1905
173 x 119 mm. A view looking across a courtyard towards a bungalow on the verandah of which stands an unidentified figure, possibly A.S. Rogers.
IBEA Co Building, Witu, 1890 - 1905
204 x 142 mm. A view looking along a path towards a large thatched building. On a flagpole beside the building flies a flag consisting of a Union Jack inset into a plain background. This is possibly an IBEA Co flag: although it does not correspond to the flag illustrated on company treaties, it is possible that several varieties were used.
Witu, 1890 - 1905
204 x 141 mm. A view looking across an open square towards a flagpole and long thatched buildings. The building at the right (in front of which stands an armed soldier) is probably a barracks.
Witu, 1890 - 1905
201 x 140 mm. A view looking along an unsurfaced street towards a well, with thatched houses at the left of the print.
