A collection of coloured matt photographs, all measuring 127 x 89 mm. The envelope is annotated: '1980. 9 photos - Zululand - are of 'Makhalafukwe' the shanty town inside Melmoth 'white' area. These people have got permission to take up jobs in Melmoth! (mostly for Government servants!) Their employers are whites, working in KwaZulu'. The photographs were taken by Wren Robinson.

The cover of the album is annotated: 'Photos show School-Feeding and Teaching thro' Zulu 'Home-Maker Clubs' holding courses in Nutrition and Cooking at KwaNzimela Centre, KwaMagwaza Mission, Melmoth, Zululand. 1975-1976. These Zenzele Clubs have been assisted by Goodwill Convenors of Zululand Women's Institutes and money from F.F.H. Committee. Photos by Wren'.
