1690 Lake Louise and Chalet, Rocky Mountains CPR [Canadian Pacific Railway], 1890 - 1920
240 x 180 mm. Shows a man outside a newly constructed chalet looking across the lake to the mountains.
1757 CPR Station and Sir Donald Mountain Glacier BC, 1890 - 1920
Shows the station with a number of people, including a station official, standing on the platform, with forest and mountains behind. Mt. Sir Donald and the lower part of Mt. Avalanche are identified on the reverse.
Album, 1905 - 1909
This album contains 114 collodio-chloride prints, mostly amateur work of good quality, approximately 110 x 65 mm in size. In addition to photographs of India, there are eight of Canada (72-79) and seven of England (80-85, 114) dated 1907 and 1909. Invitations for Douglas to become an honorary member of a number of regimental messes have also been inserted.
