Manda beach, 1934

 Item
Reference Code: GBR/0115/RCS/Y304M/69
Scope and Contents

A view showing a man sitting on the side of a boat resting on sand in shallow water. Another man is standing up in the boat behind him. Land can be seen in the far distance. The typescript catalogue states that this photograph was taken in Tanzania. If so, it seems most likely that the 'Manda' referred to is that on the shores of Lake Nyasa.
