Showing King David Kalakaua (1836-1891) and his sister Liliuokalani (1838-1917) standing in front of the obelisk erected near the spot at which Captain Cook was killed in 1779. The caption reads 'This is a visit by the King and Queen of Honolulu to Captn. Cook's monument at the island of Hawaii which is governed and owned by Honolulu.
