An album of photographs, mostly measuring about 140 x 105 mm., bound in leather with the title on the front cover. The University was created by an Act of 22 August 1961 from the former University College of the Gold Coast, founded 1948, which had become the University of Ghana in 1957. Typed captions are stuck under each photograph, which have been used as titles and recorded as found.

A collection of uncaptioned loose prints, each measuring approximately 290 x 200 mm. Joined together the prints form a panoramic view of about 180 degrees. The viewpoint of the photographer is from an unidentified building between the High Street and the sea a few hundred yards east of Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral. Unpublished typescript and manuscript reminiscences of Tengely's service in West Africa, 134 pages, with 12 inserted photographs. The account describes Accra, Elmina, Abbeokuta, Ibadan, Sierra Leone and Benin, with particular reference to African traditions, ceremonies and beliefs. There is an accompanying letter from the author to the Royal African Society, 22 June 1939, and the Society's acknowledgement, 26 June 1939.
