Katoomba Falls, N.S.W [i.e. New South Wales], 1872 - 1895

Katoomba lies about 60 miles west of Sydney and, situated in the heart of the Blue Mountains, has long been a popular tourist spot. The name derives from an Aboriginal Australian word meaning 'falling water'.
