Scope and Contents Captioned, mounted print. The photograph is accompanied by a newspaper cutting from the 'Nassau Guardian' of May 27 1905 which contains a detailed report of the event. The picture shows the unveiled statue in Rawson Square with crowds of spectators, many carrying umbrellas, in the foreground. The balcony of the government building behind is also crowded and is decked with flags.
