John Ewart Marnham had admirable opportunities for photographing flora and fauna during his stay in South Africa and in this section his own arrangement under species has been largely followed; the divisions are: lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos [rhinocesaurus] and hippos [hippopotamus], zebras, giraffes, buffalos, kudu, other deer and miscellaneous.
