Scope and Contents Notebook, apparently used primarily for a student's notes on logic, Latin translation, etc., but continued as a collection of copies of devotional works and sermons. Most of the items were copied from printed editions, but there are a few sermons of a late date that may have been written up from notes made by the writer. At one end is a series of Latin letters, evidently specimens of a prose composition, ending with one signed Antonius Belke. There is also the draft of a letter to Henry...

Gasparoli, 87 folios (and 1 torn out): (fo. 2) title-page; (fo. 4) text in three parts; (fo. 84) 'Cursus Dialecticorum Anni 1755', a list of students of dialectic at the University of Louvain. The list, which contains 175 names, gives the place of origin of each and includes three Irishmen. Inside the front cover: 'J. Lee Doctors Commons, purchased of Messrs Howell&Stewart.
