204 x 155 mm. View of the substantial verandahed premises on Avenida Aguiar which opened in 1899. Within a few years it became a private hotel. Signed ‘J. Lazarus Photo’.

206 x 155 mm. View looking across the lawn towards the two storey wooden building with veranda which housed the East and South African Telegraph Company. The exact location in the town is unknown, but it was probably on land behind the residential quarter at Reuben Point. Signed ‘J and M Lazarus, Lourenço Marques’.
