Scope and Contents From the Fonds: The collection consists of a negatives album, produced by Lennon Ltd., Cape Town, containing 125 x 95 mm negatives and an envelope with six further negatives of the same size. Some are poor photographs but many that are apparently very faint contain a good deal of detail. Seven modern prints have also been made and are listed as Y305U/105-111. Founded in 1881, the original articles of association contain, among others, the names of Cecil Rhodes and Dr. Jameson, who for some years shared a ramshackle cottage opposite the club.
