The road leading across the picture leads off to the right towards Ulundi and to the left towards Rorke's Drift. 209 x 139 mm. A view from the Oskarberg Terraces looking northwest down onto the storehouse at Rorke's Drift with the foundations of the destroyed hospital buildings at the left. It was on the Oskarberg Terraces that the Zulus placed most of their available firepower, pinning down the defenders while their main body attacked the hospital and storehouse.
