Scope and Contents
An illustrated diary of Christopher Barlow's journey from Kano, 23 February 1928, through French Equatorial Africa, Belgium Congo, Sudan, Uganda and Kenya, arriving at Mombasa on 27 March, a total of nearly 3,500 miles. On pages iii-iv is a list of journeys undertaken by Barlow, 9 March 1927-19 February 1928. The volume includes thirty inserted photographs, as well as a copy of Barlow's entry in the 'Nigeria Civil Service list', 1929, and a letter to the Librarian of the Royal Empire...
