This album contains 114 collodio-chloride prints, mostly amateur work of good quality, approximately 110 x 65 mm in size. In addition to photographs of India, there are eight of Canada (72-79) and seven of England (80-85, 114) dated 1907 and 1909. Invitations for Douglas to become an honorary member of a number of regimental messes have also been inserted.

Numbers 1-51, all from Kashmir, have clear inscriptions. 52-86 were sent by David George Stevens, CMS Regional Secretary in Bombay, to Miss Pamela Meister, CMS Photo Librarian, during the early 1960s.
