A note on the backdraws the viewers attention to the oil store on North Tanjong. Tanjong in Malay means head land and it has not been determined whether the writer is referring to the specific location.

A view taken during an unidentified occasion at the Sultan of Trengganus palace, looking down onto the lawn in front of the building where a contingent of Malay soldiers and a military band is on parade. Groups of officials and other spectators are gathered at the edge of the lawn and in front of the palace itself.
