Women (4) in long white dresses and with hats with two men in white with topees and two more in dark clothes. 12 copies of the print were sent to Mrs Gueritz, Government House, Sandakan, North Borneo on 29.04.09, so maybe her picnic]

133 x 87 mm. Showing John Lisseter HUMPHREYS (1881-1929) inspecting a guard of honour of Indian soldiers on his arrival at Jessleton to take up his appointment as Governor of British North Borneo. Humphreys, who entered the Straits Settlement Civil Service in 1905, died while on leave in China after three years as Governor of British North Borneo.
