Two copies of a memoir outlining daily activities in the camp, which was given to Hugh Bryson by C. E. Collinge, the Men's Representative to the Japanese. Collinge himself received it from an internee, whose name he had forgotten (14 sheets).

The file includes a copy of Vlieland’s article ‘Singapore: the legend and the facts’, ‘Daily telegraph’, 10 Feb. 1967 and his comments on Noel Barber’s ‘Sinister twilight: the fall and rise again of Singapore’ (1968). The file contains a paper by Brigadier Ivan Simson discussing Vlieland’s views. It also preserves correspondence between Bryson, A. H. Dickinson and Charles...
