Though some have 'The Grand Studios, Malta' stamped on the back, this is probably the printer, not the photographer. The captions to 1-18 have been added by Donald Simpson, based in most cases on information on the back by Ramsden with modifications by his daughter, Pauline Fothergill. The captions of 19-28 are those printed on the photos.
