Rubber Growers Association Gold Medal 1911, 1911
Gold medal presented to Sir Henry Wickham by the Rubber Growers Association in 1911. Wickham (1846-1928) was considered the founder of the British rubber industry. Its inscription reads, 'Awarded July 7th 1911 to Henry Alexander Wickham who brought the seed of Hevea Braziliensis from the west to the east 1876.'
