Most of the photographs are 115 x 90 mm. Collard was presumably the photographer except for the few prints in which he appears, and all the photographs are captioned. An album containing snapshots by Sir Henry Hesketh Bell and others. The majority of images, which measure 87 x 87 mm, are captioned in Bell's hand. Most of the prints in the album record scenes from Bell's official tours and from hunting expeditions in the Uganda Protectorate.

A scrapbook album containing prints by various photographers, including Alfred Lobo. The prints are of various sizes and the majority are captioned in Bell's hand. Among the scenes and events depicted in the album are the Kampala Exhibition of 1908, views of Government House, Entebbe, the visit of Winston Churchill to Uganda in 1907, sleeping sickness sufferers in Uganda and durbars in Northern Nigeria.

Copies of letters (circa 120 leaves) written by Christy to the Uganda and East Africa Exploration Syndicate. It had despatched him on a prospecting mission to locate forests rich in the Funtumia elastica tree, which was used for the production of rubber. Some of the letters include summaries of their contents in the margins.
