Smeltery at Nelson, B.C., 1908-09 - 1908-10
Quarter-plate (landscape format). Seen across Lake Kootenay. Above the smeltery to the left a wide straight road seems to have been cut through the fir trees : this is the track of an aerial tramway going 9 miles to the Silver King Copper Mine, and bringing ore thence to the smeltery.
