200x150mm. Also included are two copies of the 2½d stamp issued to mark the first anniversary of Independence, showing the same scene. The ceremony was performed by H.R.H. the Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, on behalf of H.M. the Queen.

205 x 150 mm. The Cliffords are by the parapet of a corridor at the top of the steps, and there are numerous officials and others grouped about the staircase. The setting and style of the photograph is so similar to Y30448L/6 that it seems probable that it represents part of the farewell ceremonies on Sir Hugh's departure to become Governor of Nigeria in 1919.
