299 x 240 mm. View looking From the Jakko hillside, through the trees towards Christ Church. Prior to 1836 church services had been held in a building on a site later occupied by Northbrook Terrace. A regular chaplain was first appointed in 1842 and the cornerstone of Christ Church laid two years later. Although finished some years earlier, the church was not
consecrated until 1857. Bourne no. 1791.
