When the RES Headquarters was rebuilt in 1934-36, gifts of timber for panelling and furnishing were obtained from Empire Governments, companies and individuals. Many were destroyed during the bombing of 1941 and replacement gifts were received. This file coordinates pre and post-war correspondence.

400 x 155 mm. Group including the Rev. G.H. Woolley, who led the tour, presumably taken in Canada. The more formal uniform had been dropped for this tour, the boys were required to bring a double breasted blue suit, a grey flannel suit (worn by most in this photograph) and a grey felt Homburg hat with a black ribbon. This appears to have become standard wear for subsequent tours.
