The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'The cows having been fed and milked, they remain in the kraals overnight. After a morning feed of concentrates and milking, the herds proceed to grazing again. The kraals are kept scrupulously clean and all farm yard manure is conserved and returned to the soil after being made into compost in pits'.
