Scope and Contents A photocopy of Alice Hobley's visitors' book from her time in East Africa, containing 38 pages of signatures and an inserted letter from Lord Kitchener to C.W. Hobley. Most of the signatures date from 1906-1919, but there are three from 1922-1923. There are accompanying manuscript and typescript notes made by A.T. Matson and T.H.R. Cashmore in 1987, regarding the identification of the names in the book (7 pages), and a manuscript letter to D.H. Simpson from Cashmore, 21 September 1987 (3...
