The file includes minutes of a meeting at the Colonial Office on 27 June 1950, the draft of a paragraph for insertion in the April 1950 edition of ‘British Malaya’, and associated correspondence (12 sheets).

A collection of albumen prints which include views of the Middle East, Malta and Gibraltar by Robertson, Beato and others. The majority are of European works of arts and townscapes (many of the latter unidentified). There are also scenes at Woolwich. Plates 68-80 are uncaptioned and consist of miscellaneous engravings of weaponry, armour and archaeological sites.
