Showing two soldiers standing at the base of the statue by John Bell; it is a female figure representing Liberty (or possibly Victory), 9 feet high, on a 16 foot grey granite pedestal with four bronze shields. It was erected in 1860 to commemorate Artillerymen killed in the Crimean War 1854-56. The print is stamped: 'Photo. Estab. War Dept.'
